Technical Data Sheet
INDUSTRIAL SECTIONAL DOOR
Door with a leaf made of sandwich panel, vertical guides of sheet or tube, and lintel of sheet or tubes with plates, mechanically operated by torsion spring/s fixed to the lintel/tube that rotate two drums where the cable is wound and fixed to the bottom of the leaf. This leaf runs, through some pulleys, along metal guides until it is horizontal. Optionally, the guides can be inclined to adapt to the slope of the ceiling as much as possible. The manual operation of the door can be replaced by installing an electrical system.
The perimeter of the leaf is closed by placing rubber gaskets, leaving the interior “semi-sealed.”
Blade
Leaf made of Residential or Industrial Sandwich Panel
The leaf is manufactured with a 40 mm thick sandwich panel, suitable for both residential and industrial use (depending on variants). For its fabrication, pre-lacquered sheet on galvanized steel is employed, following the EN-10142 standard. The interior of the panel is composed of expanded polyurethane with an average density of 40 kg/m³, free from CFC and HCFC. Two panel formats are used, one with a height of 500 mm and another with 610 mm.
Exterior of the Panels
The outer surface of the panels is available in pre-lacquered sheet in various colors, including white RAL 9010, RAL 8014, RAL 9006, RAL 6005, RAL 7024, RAL 3000, and RAL 5010. It is also available in light oak and dark oak wood imitation. Other colors will be painted according to the classic RAL color chart with two-component paint (base/catalyst).
The interior of the panel will be supplied in white.
For doors with a leaf size of 16 m² or more, cable breakage devices will be installed to prevent the door from falling in case one of the cables breaks.
Transmission The shaft, springs, and lintel/tube are fully assembled to facilitate the door assembly on-site. Springs are made of steel EN 10270-1, class SH, phosphated. The springs are accompanied by anti-breakage systems that prevent the door from falling in case the spring breaks.
Lintel and Guides If the vertical guides or lintel are made of sheet metal, they are manufactured in galvanized steel according to the EN-10142 standard. In this case, the finish of the guides and lintel can be galvanized sheet or pre-lacquered/painted sheet (according to the chosen door color).
If the vertical guides are made of tube, they will be manufactured in galvanized tube. In this case, the finish can be galvanized or painted. If the lintel is made of tube, a closing tube will be supplied to be placed on the top of the leaf, and a galvanized tube or a UPN (depending on the measurements) will be provided to fix the plates with the transmission.
The closing tube will have a finish identical to that of the vertical guides. The horizontal and vertical guides are made of galvanized steel sheet according to the EN-10142 standard. The assembly can be fully visible without the need for a pre-frame. The edges of the guide are rounded to prevent cuts.
Cables Depending on the dimensions of the leaf, cables with diameters of 3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm are used. All cables have a composition of 6×19+1 and comply with the DIN 3060 standard.
Deliveries The door is delivered 60% pre-assembled, packed with plastic, and two MDF sheets at the bottom and front, in one or three packages: One package: guides, lintel with transmission, panels, and accessories. Three packages: guides and lintel with transmission. panels. accessories.
The quality of this door is supported by tests carried out in accredited laboratories, following the product standard EN 13241-1, and it is marked for both manual and automatic versions. Both the parts used in the door and its finish depend on the dimensions of the door, its variant, and the opening in the construction. They also depend on possible changes due to improving production processes.
